In the area of Dramalj, there are several pit caves: Vrtare male, Vrtare nove, and Vrtare vele. Whether people wanted to keep their children at a safe distance from danger or the mystery of the caves aroused the imagination of the inhabitants of this area, Vrtare have always been a subject of fantasy stories. Legends have been told and lived among the people since time immemorial. One of such legends, told by grandmother ⁄nona⁄ Lojza Jurić, has been preserved to this day. The book was designed in collaboration with ⁄Radost⁄ Kindergarten in Crikvenica and illustrated by ⁄Slatkići⁄ kindergarten group.
