Marko Ercegović — l.p,

The monograph collects a series of photographs taken by Ercegović, in the last ten years, between 2006 and 2016, in some of the numerous business and office premises belonging to the domestic bureaucratic and administrative system. The title of the book takes over the wording used by most corporate e-mails in Croatia ⁄Kind regards⁄, in its often abbreviated form: L.P. ⁄lijep pozdrav⁄. The photographs, which, according to the author, “establish their own relationship to the Croatian business and bureaucratic environment, illustrate the numerous protagonists of this environment, from bureaucrats and bureaucrats, through managers, craftspeople, important and less important businessmen, to representatives of labor unions, as well as their working environment and specific communication. In a nutshell, it provides a personal insight into a world that often remains invisible to the public at large, although it makes up one of the key parts of the infrastructure for governance, both production and the state, as well as social and political relations. The publication is complemented by a text by political theorist Tomislav Medak.
