The Household Spirits , the picture book for children and adults, is a collection of little, witty stories about small, invisible creatures that live in houses. The household Spirits emerged from the folklore imagination, though in this book they live in an urban five-story apartment building. The expected perspective is altered: the characters of the stories are adults seen from children’s view mostly as strange, confused and funny persons.
