The book reviews the design work of Davor Grünwald from the late sixties to the mid-seventies in Croatia and from 1976 to the present day in Canada, and includes all of the author’s most important projects in over 40 years of his career, as well as a review of the context in which he worked. The book was carried out in parallel with the exhibition by Davor Grünwald: The Industrial Design Retrorama, 1968. – 2008 and contains documentation collected during the preparation of the exhibition itself, but also includes many segments of the Grünwald opus that were not presented at the exhibition itself and covers a somewhat broader time frame. On a total of 100 pages of text illustrated by numerous photographs, the book brings a large introductory text by Mark Golub and Koraljka Vlajo, as well as an extensive interview of the same authors with the designer himself, who gives insight into all aspects of his authorship from his schooling in the mid-1960s until today.
