Umijeće sakupljanja razglednica

First complete domestic book dedicated to cartophilia — aspirations, basic terms, and ways of selecting and presenting postcards — finds us in a special time and cultural moment. We live in a time of hyperproduction and mass exchange of digital images, from personal photographic clips of time and space via social networks to systematic projects of photographic-algorithmic mapping of every known part of the world. The need to share one’s own experience and identity in modern man experiences technologically mediated ecstasy. The technology and infrastructure that met the same need in the decades before the democratization of first analog and then digital photography was provided precisely by the medium of postcards, which this book deals with from a collector’s perspective.

every copy includes one unique random postcard
