This book is a panoramic presentation of Ilić’s work ranging from posters, through newspaper covers and illustrations to comics, from the mid-1970s to the present, remixed as a narrative of the 20th and 21st centuries and a possible reading of the moment we live in and what we led to it. The book confronts works that are explicitly political and those that are not at first glance, sharp readings of social reality and interpretations of complex scientific and philosophical knowledge, drama of global conflicts and intimate drama, images of hatred and evil and images of empathy and love. The order is relative and changeable, everything flows in several different directions, each visual is a possible signpost for something else.
